We recommend getting a ViPeel Chemical Peel every 2-3 months for acne scarring concerns. However, this may vary depending on the individual and their skin’s specific needs.
ViPeel Chemical Peels are generally very safe with minimal risk of irritation or side effects. Immediately after treatment you may experience mild redness or stinging that subsides quickly after the area is neutralized with a cool compress.
No Heat or sweating for 3 days following you ViPeel, avoid the sun for 7+ days and reapply SPF often. Do not scrub or peel the skin- this will cause irritation. You may restart skincare regimen after 7 days.
ViPeel Chemical Peels use a combination of glycolic acid, retinoic acid (Retin-A), salicylic acid, and phenol for maximum effectiveness. Glycolic acid exfoliates the skin’s surface layers while Retin-A helps reduce wrinkles, improve texture and tone, and even out discoloration. Salicylic acid penetrates deeply into the pores to unclog them and reduce acne breakouts in the future. Phenol provides exfoliation for deeper lines, wrinkles, and sun damage.
